RF Expert, Kraus Joins Kaltman Creations
Atlanta Georgia – November 2007. Kaltman Creations LLC, an exclusive North American distributor of RF Spectrum Analyzers, LOG Periodic Antennas, and a manufacturer of professional audio accessories, announced today the appointment of RF guru, Drew Kraus to the position of Sales Engineer and RF Specialist.
Kraus' position will center on sales to commercial, industrial, and military accounts who are interested in Kaltman's line of affordable RF spectrum analyzers and antennas. Additionally, he will function as their in-house RF expert offering technical assistance on the more challenging applications and also provide direction on new product development.
Kraus started his RF and engineering career in 1982 as a chief engineer for KNAT TV in New Mexico. Later in the 80's he became the Engineer-in-Charge for Sunrise Teleproductions where he was responsible for broadcast origination of national television spots and other related productions. In 1990 Kraus relocated to Atlanta Georgia where his career advanced as he held various engineering and engineering management positions with CNN Headline News. And most recently, Kraus worked at SignaSys, Inc in San Jose, California. There he acted as a senior engineer which also included the overall responsibility for instructing other RF engineers on a Sprint-Nextel 2GHz relocation project. This specialized training included extensive test & measurement analysis, installation procedures, and COFDM Digital Microwave setup and operation.
