Invisible Waves PC based RF spectrum analyzer. RF Command Center

The Invisible Waves X™ generation is more than a RF Spectrum Analyzer; it's your mobile RF Command Center. This new, ground-breaking RF tool, encompasses a whole arsenal of "World First" RF analysis, controlling and monitoring features:

  • RF Coordinator™ to identify usable open RF space
  • UFO Alert™ (Unidentified Frequency Objects) to warn of rogue interference
  • Click to Listen™ to listen in to all RF signals
  • RF Level Alert™ to warn when any cataloged signals fall below assigned thresholds
  • RF Congestion Scale™ to gauge the severity of local RF

Screen Highlights

  • 10 different control and alarm panels, each one 'dockable' or screen floating.
  • Visual and audible alarms for RF levels and rogue interference.
  • Custom Marker Point naming and color coding.
  • Click & Drag the RF traces (transmissions) right into the Master Status Display for continuous RF status monitoring.
  • Tunable Indicator Sweep Bar for the Click to Listen™ (CTL) function, (or click on the individual speaker icons in the Master Status Display).
  • Zoom in and out of the RF spectrum with the Click & Drag function.
  • On screen activation of the cursor Help Assistant.
  • Unlimited levels of un-do's.
Master Status Display: For cataloging up to 100 RF signals — transmitters and interference — for an instant status of RF signal levels, low–level alarms and Click to Listen™ (CTL). Each transmitter status panel changes color from green though red, depending on the signal level along with the dbm read-out.

Click to Listen™: Use the CTL™ tuning bar to listen–in to the transmitted audio or click on the related master status panel to monitor the audio signal.

UFO Alert™: ("Unidentified Frequency Object") flashes to indicate that an uncataloged transmission has exceeded your assigned threshold level. UFO warnings appear in several places including the Spectral Trace View along with an audible alarm output.

HeatMap View: Displays RF energy levels by color intensity over time. This view is great for long-term interference tracking and identification, displaying an at-a-glance view of intermittent high RF levels.

RF Coordinator™ : The RF Coordinator™ will indicate all potential open RF space within both the Spectral Trace View and in a printable master list, based upon the user's specifications. The user settings include a threshold level, allowable bandwidth for each potential transmitter and the desired frequency spacing for each potential transmitter. Selectable options include displaying on screen the threshold line, the open RF Spacing between existing RF signals, and displaying the potential transmitter.

White Space Obsolete

With new consumer wireless devices now allocated into the RF block spacing between digital television transmissions — formally called "White Space" — the need for a dedicated pro audio "White Space Finder" has become obsolete. The new Invisible Waves X™ versions now incorporate a RF Frequency Coordinator™ function which will display ALL usable open RF space. Perfect for channel assignment and interference avoidance, the RF Frequency Coordinator™, along with a complete suite of 'world first' RF Command Center controls, makes the new Invisible Waves X™ your mission critical tool.

Alarm Status Panel: Cursor Position is a handy, at–a–glance feature providing the frequency and level readout of the exact cursor position within the Spectral Trace View. Great for cursor positioning on top of RF signals to see the exact frequency. RF Congestion™ is a weighted scale which indicates the severity of the local RF. It has several applications but the most common would be as a reference or indicator of what channel spacing measures may be required at a given site. UFO Alert™ flashes to indicate that an un-cataloged transmission has exceeded your assigned threshold level. UFO warnings appear in several places including the warning icon in Spectral Trace View and there is also an audible output. "Master Status Display Alarms" is a running list indicating all alarms such as low-level alerts and UFO's. (For RF Event recording applications, this list is recorded and is printable).

Spectral View Settings: Set the scaling (dynamic range from 0dbm to -130dbm), and Trace Selection. The Trace Selection includes green to display the current sweep, gray for a Shadow sweep (previous sweep for comparison), yellow for average sweep, and red for Max Hold sweep (accumulative / peak-hold).

Data Recorder: Log all RF activity including alerts and event alarms. Status indicators show elapsed recording time, file size, number of recorded sweeps, etc. Playback is similar to using a VTR with fast forward and reverse type functions, a timeline drag bar, and data position clock.
